ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE IN VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL GAMES ON MAY 20

Seven local athletes have recently been selected to participate in various all star games hosted by the South Texas Coaches Association.
Pearsall seniors Corbin Norris, Joseph De La Rosa and Joey Ramirez and Dilley’s Adrian Carrazco, Esai Lozano, Jorge Herrada and Jazlyn Bradshaw have all been selected to participate in contests on Saturday, May 20 in Pleasanton.
The STCA will host a one-day all-star event at Pleasanton ISD featuring all-star games in volleyball, basketball and football.
Bradshaw earned a spot on the volleyball roster while Herrada was selected to the basketball all-star squad.
Pearsall’s Norris, De La Rosa and Ramirez will join Dilley’s Carrazco and Lozano on the football all-star team.
The event kicks off with the all-star volleyball game at the high school gym at 10 a.m.
The basketball all-star contest tips off a noon and the football all-star event kicks off that evening at 7 p.m. at Eagle Stadium.
