Tommy Gonzalez
FUGITIVE JAILED ON FELONY, MISDEMEANOR CHARGES
A habitual offender remains at the Frio County Jail after he shot a man during an altercation on Monday, April 3.
Pearsall police say three days after shooting a man at his home on Woodlawn Street, 33-year-old Tommy Gonzalez was arrested on a misdemeanor and two felony charges.
Reports indicate the 36-year-old victim was struck on the left side of the body and required treatment at a San Antonio hospital.
Gonzalez is being held this week in lieu of bond on charges that include a Class A misdemeanor for assault causing bodily injury, two second-degree felonies for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and burglary of a habitation.
Gonzalez is also being held on six charges of failure to appear in court for offenses ranging from possession of illegal narcotics to assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
