San Juanita M. Hernandez, 72, died on May 1, 2023 in San Antonio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Maria Pena, Manuel Marquez, Estanislado Marquez, Rodolfo Marquez, Elias Marquez, Inez Arredondo, daughter Josie Hernandez and granddaughter Amber Leal.

San Juanita is survived by her children Joe Alex Hernandez (Helen), James Hernandez, Daniel Martinez, Juan Marquez (Esperanza), Teresa Leal (Jose), Jennifer Hernandez and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an extended family.

A Rosary was recited on Friday, May 5 at 9 a.m. followed by a mass at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall. Services concluded at the church.
