NAVARRO, RIDDICK RECEIVE FIRST-TEAM ALL-DISTRICT ACCOLADES
Eight Pearsall players were named to the District 29-4A baseball team following Pleasanton’s playoff exit last week.
All-district selections are made public following the playoff exit of all teams representing the respective district.
Pearsall’s Samuel Navarro was named the Co-All-District Utility Player while Landon Riddick was a first-team selection in the outfield.
Senior Abram Garcia was named second-team all-district pitcher while Matt Hughes, JJ Dominguez, Diego Carrasco, Charlie Martinez and Ace Urrea were all given honorable mention.
Pearsall finished 9-14 this season and 4-8 in 29-4A play, finishing fifth and one game out of the playoff race.
