The Alexander Memorial and La Salle County Library in Encinal will host the ‘All Together Now’ Summer Reading Program from Tuesday, June 13, to Thursday, June 29. The event is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and will include activities, games, special guests and movies.
The event is open to children ages six to ten years. Those who attend and read 12 books at or above their reading level during the program will receive a certificate and prizes.
Story time for children ages four and five years will be held on Wednesdays, June 14, 21 and 28, from 1 to 2 p.m. Participating students must have a valid library card to attend.
Alexander Memorial Library hours will be Mondays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
La Salle County Library hours in Encinal are Mondays – Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
