Pearsall residents flocked to Polo Patino Park on Thursday, June 1, to enjoy the city’s first movie night and family event of the summer. Beginning at 8 p.m., city staff treated patrons to refreshments while children enjoyed bounce castles and the splash pad. At dusk, “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” was shown; the next event will be on Thursday, June 22, and “Minions: The Rise of Gru” will be shown. The city will host a family pool night at the Pearsall Public Pool on Friday, June 9, from 7 to 11 p.m.
