Frio County Road and Bridge crews will target 6,700 square feet of county-owned roads on the east side of IH-35 in Derby this summer by paving, sealing and removing vegetation (Photo above right). Earlier this month, county crews placed twelve stop signs at proposed intersections. According to Frio County Judge Rochelle Camacho, crews are slated to begin the infrastructure improvements within two weeks. The roads highlighted in a satellite image are not presently used; few are used for property access.
