Juanita M. Lopez, 74, of Dilley, died on June 22, 2023 in San Antonio. She was born on July 24, 1948 to Jose Angel Moreno and Herminia Garcia Moreno.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Angel Jose Moreno and Maria M. Ochoa and late husband Roman V. Lopez Jr.

Juanita is survived by her husband Alex Castor, children Roman Lopez III (Terrie) of Pleasanton and Ruben Lopez (Luisana) of Uvalde. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alexandrea Lopez, Roman J. Lopez, Tony A. Lopez, Ruben Lopez Jr., and Ariel Lopez, brother Baldemar G. Moreno (Roseanna) of Fort Worth, sister Yolanda M. Rodriguez of Grand Prairie and sister-in-laws Angie Moreno, and Margot Moreno.

Pallbearers include Alexis Moreno, Angel Moreno, Joey Moreno, Joel Moreno, Raul Ochoa, Abel Rodriguez and Fernando Rodriguez.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 5 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels in Dilley from 3 to 9 p.m. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated Thursday, July 6 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dilley at 10 a.m. Interment followed at the Dilley Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Dilley.
