Roberto “Bob” Medina Saenz, 82, died on July 19, 2023 in his hometown of Pearsall. He was born on April 28, 1941 in Pearsall.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Bob is survived by his wife Rosario and their children Veronica Saenz Dutchover (Jimmy), Velma Saenz, Sandra Saenz Portillo (Jaime) and Roberto “Bobby” Saenz Jr. (JoAnn), grandchildren Dena, Richard, Joe, James, Lauren, Valorie, Robbie, Raymond, great-grandchildren Mila, Brennan, Jay and Lyla.
He was married to Rosario for 63 years and was a hard worker, known for his many years working for ButterKrust bread and a longtime bus driver at Pearsall ISD.
A visitation was held on Friday, July 21 from 5 to 9 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall. A mass was celebrated on Saturday, July 22 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall. Interment followed in the Frio County Cemetery.
