Football workouts opened this week across Texas as schools prep for the 2023 Fall sports season.
Dilley kicked off workouts with a Midnight Madness event as both football and volleyball teams held overnight workouts in an effort to avoid the daytime heat.
Athletes in Pearsall and Cotulla held afternoon practice sessions this week. With many schools opening classes next week, the traditional two-a-day sessions have been abbreviated and football sessions have been limited to helmets only.
