Members of the Frio-Nueces Current staff will be present at the upcoming local sports openers in Pearsall and Cotulla to offer parents and friends of the high school athletes opportunities to pick up spots in the 2023 Fall Sports Preview.
The magazine will be published August 24 with features on the high school teams for Pearsall, Dilley and Cotulla; advertising space remains available. Spots may include congratulations and well wishes from families, photos of the athletes, and team-related graphics. Reservation deadline is noon on Friday, Aug. 18.
Supporters may also use the Frio-Nueces Current’s QR code with their smartphones to access the newspaper’s site specifically for the preview and the easy-to-follow steps for reserving a spot in the annual magazine, and to upload the photos and information they’d like to include.
Payment is also possible swiftly through the website.
‘Meet the Cowboys’ takes place in the Cotulla High School Gymnasium at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 10.
‘Meet the Mavs’ is set for Mack Laxson Field in Pearsall at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11.
‘Meet the Wolves’ will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Dilley High School’s Gosch Field.
