Pearsall ISD Board President Marco Reyes gave the keynote address and elected trustees joined Superintendent Dr. Nobert Rodriguez in cutting the ribbon on Monday, July 31, to the new performing arts center built beside the high school campus. the building includes a 700-seat auditorium, offices, and a band hall with soundproofed practice rooms, and was paid for in part by a $12.2 million bond authorized by voters. The district’s $17.4 million construction project included the new center as well as upgrades, new classrooms, fixtures and fittings and a new gymnasium at Ted Flores Elementary School.
