An ominous storm cell producing strong updrafts moves westward near Pearsall Thursday morning, August 22 as scattered thunderstorms, lighting and gusts of high winds accompanied Tropical Storm Harold as the system swept through South Texas. There were unconfirmed reports of a tornado west of Pearsall and a Tornado Warning was issued by the National Weather Service as radar indicated rotation in a storm cell at 12:15 p.m.
