The Cotulla Woman’s Club served as host on Thursday, September 7, at the monthly ‘Coffee With the Chamber’ organized by the Cotulla – La Salle County Chamber of Commerce and held this time in the fellowship hall of the First Church of Cotulla. The event was themed in purple and teal, representative of the month’s dedication to increasing awareness of mental health and suicide prevention, with club members meeting local business leaders, elected officials, law enforcement and emergency responders, school district administrators and civic leaders to discuss resources to essential services, healthcare and other assistance and support groups, and to offer neighborly and business networking. The monthly event brings together community members for information sharing and to help develop stronger ties between local leaders, businesses and the public.
