Ynes J. Treviño Jr., 84, of Pearsall, died on September 3, 2023. He was born on August 15, 1939, in Pearsall to Elvira Juarez Treviño and Ynes Treviño Sr.

He is preceded in death by his wife Irma Trujillo Treviño, parents, siblings Aurora Zamora, Juanita Castaneda, Alicia Navarro, Sulema Trujillo, Rudy J. Treviño and Elizar Treviño. He is also survived by his children Ynes “Sonny” T. Treviño III (Zelda) of Humble, Ruben Treviño (Maria) of Poteet, Jaime T. Treviño (Elva) of SA, Frank Ernest Treviño (Teresa) of Natalia, Jennifer Ramos (Patrick) of Marion, Rosa Rodriguez of Pearsall, Leticia Chavera of Lytle, Nathaniel Leal (Delma) of Humble, Ynes Jorge Hernandez of SA., sister Gloria T. Benavides of Pearsall. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Friday, September 8 at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Services concluded at the chapel.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels, Pearsall.
