ALL-STAR FOOTBALL GAME
Dilley senior chosen to participate in all-star football game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Dilley senior Dorian Aranda has been invited to participate in the 2024 Dream All-American Bowl all star football game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
According to its website, the Dream All-American Bowl showcases the nation’s best high school and middle school athletes. Participation allows players to learn from some of the best teachers of the game, former NFL players, college and high school coaches.
Participation in the game also includes a weekend long event of developmental activities and performance on a nationwide platform.
The Dream All-American Bowl game will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024.
“Athletes that were selected have exemplified great leadership skills on and off the field, and have stood out as leading performers in each position,” Dream Committee leader and Dream Sports Group CEO Shannon Riley said. “We believe that these are the next stars of the game, and we want to recognize them for their outstanding achievements and help them get to the next level.”
According to Riley, Aranda was one of 360 student-athletes chosen for the game from a field of over 10,000 nominatioins.
“Dorian makes catching passes look easy,” Riley said. “He snags balls out of the air with a hands-to-ball connection that’s like glue, extends for catches with a range that leaves defenders helpless, and secures passes in traffic with a ball security that’s absolutely elite.
“We are excited to see him display his talents in Arlington. Dream Sports Group congratulates him on this prestigious honor and once in a lifetime opportunity.”
