Cotulla track teams finish third at Lytle

Gonzales medals in all five events to pace Cowboys at Pirate Relays.

Jose Gonzales medalled in all five of his events to lead Cotulla to a third place finish at the Lytle Pirate Relays on Thursday, February 22.
The Cowboys tallied 98 points while the Cowgirls were also third with 79 points.
Although they didn’t garner many first place medals, both squads had multiple athletes consistently place in almost every event in building team points.
Gonzales paced the Cowboys as he took first in the 200m dash, was second in the 100m dash, was third with the sprint relay team and took second and third in the long and triple jumps.
