DISTRICT 28-3A TRACK & FIELD
Cotulla will be sending 15 athletes to area competition following action at the District 28-3A track meet in Natalia on Wednesday, April 3.
The Cowboys finished fourth overall at the event while the Cowgirls were fifth.
Cotulla’s 800m relay team of Robert Perales, Alex Medina, Oscar Charo, Brayden Rodriguez were district champs in that event while Robert Sanchez was second in the discus, Brayden Rodriguez was second in the high jump and 200m dash and Dadrian DeLeon was second in the 100m hurdles. Sanchez also finished third in the shot put.
Jasmine De La Garza was a district champion in the pole vault for the Cowgirls while Jordan Bingaman was second in the high jump.

In junior varsity action, the JV Cowgirls took home the district title with a dominant performance.
Multiple athletes secured numerous medals for the squad as they ran away with the title.

The top four placing athletes in each varsity event will advance to the area competition which was held on Wednesday, April 10 in Jourdanton.
