House fire

A house fire near the intersection of West San Marcos and Nopal streets on the west side of Pearsall Tuesday morning, June 25, tested the mettle of the city’s volunteer firefighters as the wooden house and surrounding trees were consumed by the fast-moving blaze. There have been no reports of injuries. The fire remains under investigation.
