Twenty-six individuals were arrested in Frio County between Monday, July 28, and Sunday, August 11, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.
In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:
Alfredo Salinas, 19, of Pearsall, arrested Monday, July 29, 11:57 a.m., criminal mischief.
Christopher Lee Lerma, 28, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, July 30, 7:34 a.m., assault causing bodily injury.
Cesar Huerta, 36, of San Antonio, arrested Tuesday, July 30, 10:38 a.m., evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Xavier Bosquez, 21, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, July 30, 9:36 p.m., warrant – possession of marjuana.
Lance Durant Franklin, 40, of Houston, arrested Wednesday, July 31, 9:00 a.m., Harris County warrant – robbery with bodily injury; Laredo County warrant – unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Angel Junior Nash, 22, of Pearsall, arrested Wednesday, July 31, 8:09 p.m., warrant – assault causing bodily injury to a date/ family or household member.
Jesus Benavides, 32, of Pearsall, arrested Wednesday, July 31, 9:34 p.m., violating bond/protective order.
Juan Antonio Soto, 24, of Pearsall, arrested Friday, August 2, 12:40 a.m., evading arrest or detention.
Timathy Joel Valverde, 29, no address listed, arrested Thursday, August 8, 1:47 a.m., assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Felix J. Carreon, 28, of Dayton, Texas, arrested Friday, August 2, 9:34 a.m., warrant – commitment, smuggling of persons.
Michael Gandara, 42, of Pearsall, arrested Friday, August 2, 2:20 p.m., La Salle County warrant – probation violation/evading arrest or detention with a vehicle; possession of a controlled substance.
Miguel Chacon Jr., 56, of Pearsall, arrested Saturday, August 3, 4:59 a.m., resisting arrest, search or transport; public intoxication.
Margarita Estella Sauceda, 24, of Dilley, arrested Sunday, August 4, 3:55 a.m., assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Ricardo Aguilar, 57, of Pearsall, arrested Sunday, August 4, 11:03 a.m., two counts – assault causing bodily injury.
Santana Aguilar, 28, of Dilley, arrested Sunday, August 4, 5:22 p.m., assault causing bodily injury to a family member.
Luis Ely Trevino Jr., 40, of Pearsall, arrested Monday, August 5, 6:37 p.m., failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance.
Desiree Marie Benavides, 29, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, August 6, 12:59 a.m., possession of marijuana; Kenedy County warrant – failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance; manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance; manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Tony Tobias Gonzalez, 18, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, August 6, 2:18 a.m., possession of a controlled substance; theft; unlawfully carrying a weapon; tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair; possession of marijuana.
James Ray Ortegon, 20, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, August 6, 6:26 p.m., public intoxication.
Juan Ramos, 22, of Pearsall, 02/06/2002, arrested Tuesday, August 6, 8:24 p.m., driving while intoxicated.
Leslie Renee Casillas, 42, of Dilley, arrested Tuesday, August 6, 10:14 p.m., forgery of a financial instrument; criminal trespass; La Salle County warrant – theft of property; La Salle County warrant – failure to identify, giving false information; two Medina County warrants – theft of property.
Jaziel Cuellar, 17, of Laredo, arrested Thursday, August 8, 4:01 a.m., evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
David Chavera, 47, of Pearsall, arrested Friday, August 9, 10:55 p.m., theft of property; criminal trespass.
Charlie Martinez, 37, of Pearsall, arrested Saturday, August 10, 3:58 a.m., possession of a controlled substance; warrant – aggravated assault on a date/family/household member with a weapon.
Joshua Jose Garcia, 22, of Dilley, arrested Saturday, August 10, 4:12 p.m., interfering with emergency request for assistance.
Alan Vasquez-Sanchez, 27, of Denton, arrested Sunday, August 11, 7:28 p.m., unauthorized use of a vehicle.
