I’ll tell you what the most important move to make is, and that’s to stop putting it off and get to it, however you have to go about that. You will tell each other how much you need to meet up until you’re out of ways to say it, but unless you make a real plan you’re wasting your breath.
Friends so often wait for the other to make the plan, but why? Why not call up your friend and tell them that you’re in need? A good friend will come for a friend in need, won’t they? Especially once you say you’re in need of their company.
Call your friend. Stop putting it off, quit waiting for later or tomorrow. Pick up the phone today and find the nearest convenient location to get together, and the rest will fall into place.
