LA SALLE COUNTY oaths of office were administered on Wednesday afternoon, January 1, in the district courtroom to those who prevailed in the November general election for local government and law enforcement positions, with County Judge Leodoro Martinez III (Photo above, center) welcoming the officeholders. The county judge was joined by District Judge Jennifer Dillingham and JP Janie Megliorino in administering the oaths. The ceremony was the second of the day; newly elected Sheriff Hector Ramirez took his oath in the courthouse shortly after midnight on Jan. 1.
