Wild West Justice

A cowboy shoot-out has long been a tradition at Pearsall’s popular Pioneer Day, thrilling audiences young and old with its actors portraying the characters who lived in the frontier towns and worked the open range of the west. Last weekend’s event did not disappoint, and crowds enjoyed the re-enactments along with outdoor cooking, music, historical displays, and contests for bean, fajita, chicken and pork chop cooking as well as desserts, in the gardens of the Frio Pioneer Jail Museum and Firemen’s Park.
