Rocha claims triple jump district title.

2025 Cotulla Cowboys District 28-3A Track and Field Runners-Up
Cotulla’s Cowboys were a mere 33 points shy of catching Lytle for first place at the District 28-3A track and field championships in Jourdanton last week on April 2 and 3.
Brayden Rodriguez was dominant for the Cowboys as he was a district champion in the 100m dash, 200m dash, high jump and with the 800m relay team of Oscar Charo, Rene Barrera and Jose Gonzalez.
Cotulla is sending 18 athletes to area competition in Seguin on April 9.
Area qualifiers include Rodriguez in the 100m and 200m dashes, high jump and 800m relay; Jose Gonzalez in the 100m dash, 200m dash, 800m relay, and long and triple jumps; Oscar Charo in the 200m dash and 800m relay; Frank Torres in the 800m run; Jayanjru Ramirez in the 800m run; Ryan Sanchez in the 300m hurdles; Rene Barrera in the 800m relay and high jump; John Michael Sanchez in the pole vault; Emma Reagan in the 100m dash, Mareli Aranda in the 300m hurdles, the 400m relay team of Janell Gonzalez, EJ Zertuche, Juliana Garcia and Sareen Ramirez, Jordan Bingaman in the high jump, Brooklyn Kuenstler in the pole vault, Jackeline Alba in the long jump and Kayle Guzman in the discus.
