DILLEY CROSS COUNTRY
Dilley’s cross country Wolves and Lady Wolves opened their 2025 season at the always competitive Floresville Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning, August 16.
Josiah Benavides led the Wolves as he finished 14th overall while freshman Harvest Viesca paced the Lady Wolves with a 38th place finish in a field of 185 girls.
The Wolves did not field enough runners to compete as a team while the Lady Wolves were 14th overall out of 24 teams with a very young squad.
Benavides competed in a field of 208 runners in the Class 1A-4A division. Viesca dropped a new personal record time in her debut meet at the varsity level.
