William “Billy” James Cole Jr.

William “Billy” James Cole Jr., 63, died on Monday, December 19, 2026. He was born in Corpus Christi on December 19, 1962 to the late William James Cole Sr. and Linda Cole.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Billy is survived by sons William Austin Cole (Sarah), Travis Cole and daughter Kali Cole, mother Linda Cole, sister Margie (Randy) Zinsmeyer, and nephews Beau (Sierra) and Tyson Zinsmeyer, grandchildren Makenna, Michael and Abeline Cole as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He attended and graduated from Pearsall High School in 1981. After graduation, he worked in the oilfield for several years until his enlistment in the US Coast Guard. He retired from the USCG and moved to San Antonio for a few years then was in Springfield, Illinois for several more years until moving back to San Antonio.

Burial services will be on Monday, February 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston Memorial cemetery with full military honors.

Memorials can be made in his honor to a benefit or charity of choice.
