Pearsall Mavericks 4H Club member Hayden Gulley continued a winning streak last weekend with the grand championship for her steer at the Junior Livestock Show & Auction in Frio County on Saturday, January 28. She sold the steer at auction for $20,000 to bidders G2 Ranch and Derby Sand Ranch. The four-day event included animal judging and a show and sale of Country Store handmade goods in wood, leather and metal by local students. (See related photos, Page 14).
