TREVION FACES FELONY THEFT CHARGE

Encinal police arrested a Laredo man on Friday, August 11 after discovering that he was behind the wheel of a stolen pickup truck.
According to a report on the case, officers on routine patrol of IH-35 effected a traffic stop on the driver of a white F-250 pickup for a violation of the Texas Transportation Code near Mile Marker 40 in La Salle County.
Emergency dispatch personnel confirmed the white ford had been stolen out of Laredo.
The driver, 60-year-old Michael Trevino, of Laredo, was arrested on a felony charge for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Trevino was detained and transported to the La Salle County Jail without further incident.
