Two Dilley men were transported to San Antonio hospitals after the motorcycle they were operating malfunctioned and crashed on an intersection in their town.
Dilley Police identified the driver as 24-year-old Esteban Rodriguez, who had been traveling south on Main Street in downtown Dilley on the afternoon of February 18 when the motorcycle experienced a mechanical malfunction, causing the driver to crash near the Hwy 85 intersection.
According to a report on the case, officers arrived to find Rodriguez and his passenger, 23-year-old Riley Garcia, suffering from injuries sustained in the crash. They were reported as not being in life-threatening condition.
Dilley Police Chief Stephen Hernandez said both men were thrown from the bike in the crash and slid across the roadway.
