COTULLA TRACK & FIELD
Cotulla garnered seven gold medals and dominated the field en route to a first place finish at the Longhorn Relays in Hebbronville on Thursday, March 20.
Brooklyn Kuenstler won the girls’ pole vault while Sareen Ramirez was second in the 100m hurdles to pace the Cowgirls at the same event.
The Cowboys medaled in multiple events to take the top spot at the event. Brayden Rodriguez won the 200m dash, Ryan Sanchez was first in the 110m hurdles and second in the 300m hurdles, while the 800m relay team took first and the sprint relay was second. Rodriguez also won the high jump while Sanchez was second and Jose Gonzalez took the top spot in the long and triple jumps while John Michael Sanchez was first in the pole vault.

Cotulla was in action at the annual Edye Lea Relays in Pearsall Wednesday, March 26 before competing at the District 28-3A meet in Dilley on Wednesday, April 2.
