Benavides is 20th at Islander Splash CC meet

Josiah Benavides finished 20th overall in his division in action at the Islander Splash Cross Country Invitational in Corpus Christi last Saturday.
The Lady Wolves’ Harvest Viesca was 61st in a field of 399 runners at the event to pace her squad.
“All of our runners competed very well on a grueling corpus course which was a little longer than a two-mile/5K due to remapping of the course because of rainfall,” DHS Head Coach James Rodriguez said.
