Varsity spirit

K’LEE DE LEON, daughter of Omar and Melinda De Leon and a student at Cotulla High School, was one of more than 800 high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the nation who represented Varsity Spirit in the 2025 Thanksgiving Tour at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The performers were part of a select group chosen as All-Americans during Varsity Spirit summer camps. All-American status is earned through a tryout that recognizes exceptional cheerleading or dance skills at camps hosted by UCA, UDA, NCA, NDA, or UCE. Only the top 15 percent of participants earn the opportunity to march in a holiday parade. K’Lee joined the Varsity Spirit All-Americans for a special performance through Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park during Thanksgiving week.
