Frio to assist with FVA Market Day


During a special meeting of the Frio County Commissioners Court on October 4, a number of agenda action items were approved.

Commissioners granted $770.50 to CCAP Executive Bobby Deike for the provisions of meals to home-bound elderly and disabled residents of Frio Co. through the Community Council of South Texas, Inc..

Commissioners also agreed to help Frio Vision Alive Coordinator, Julian Hernandez with his request for assistance regarding the next Frio County Market Days event on November 4, by closing portions of South Oak St. and East San Marcos St. in Pearsall and to provide manpower, barricades and signage for the closures.
