Crawling through Tibet

Dogs are horrible at math. This might not come as a surprise to anyone who has a dog, and probably not to anyone who has more than one dog, but it’s not until we compare dogs’ math capabilities with those of cats that we fully grasp the depth of their ineptitude.

Because, you see, cats are absolute whizzes at fractions. Also, they know how to tell time and can predict the weather. These are quite useful things, especially when you consider that cats have been doing this for quite a long time and were probably doing it back when we were still suspicious of nature and didn’t know the Earth revolves around the sun, or whatever it does. Perhaps cats know what’s really going on and laugh at us silently because we’re still using clocks and hailing the wisdom of Galileo.
