Kaylynn Rios broke a 33- year old school record with a leap of 5'3” in the high jump at the Javelina Relays in Crystal City last Wednesday, March 28, in the final tune-up before this week's District 29-4A event. Devine won the event with 214.5 points. The Lady Mavs were second with 143.5 points.


Rios led the team with a first place finish in the high jump and first place finish in the long jump. She was also a member of the first place sprint and mile relay teams and third place 800m relay team. Kianna Kebbi continued her improvement each week as she was first in the 400m dash, second in the 200m dash and was a member of the winning sprint relay team.
