Segovia files complaints before Election Day, alleges ballot mishandling

As the hotly contested Pearsall municipal elections drew to a close, candidate Roland Segovia filed a petition for a temporary restraining order, prompting the removal of the early voting ballots from City Hall on Wednesday, May 2.

Judge Sid Harle of Bexar County granted the order Wednesday, directing the Frio County Sheriff to take custody of the ballots and have Elections Administrator Carlos Segura oversee polling on the last day of the elections, Saturday, May 5.
