Pearsall CC preps for district at Bandera meet

Pearsall opted to run Saturday at Bandera in an effort to make up for the cancelled Round Rock McNeil Invitational Cross Country Meet, Devin Robles responded by taking first overall. “This meet was to replace the McNeil meet that was cancelled, due to bad weather,” PHS Cross Country Coach Jose Olvera said.

“This meet provided good challenges with the course and was a good opportunity for improvement. “Only part of the team traveled to Bandera, however, due to injury, we were missing one of our key female runners. I was proud of the effort by our other two top runners, as the competition was elevated at this meet. Robles finished first overall while freshman Zaine Leal was behind him in 13th place
