Randolph's speed and size along the lines proved difficult to overcome while Cotulla also turned the ball over twice in dropping a 35-13 decision in District 15-3A, Division I action last week during Homecoming festivities at Myers Memorial Stadium.

The Ro-Hawks scored 21 straight points before Cotulla could get on the board and eventually surged to a 35-6 advantage in coasting to the victory.

“It was just what we thought,” CHS AD and Head Football Coach David Silva said. “We knew they'd be tough up front on both sides of the ball. Overall they have great team speed.

“Defensively we'd have them in a third and long situation and they'd get the first down. Offensively, missed on a couple of big pass plays, we just couldn't get outside like we were used to.”
