Patricia Shull

Patricia Dean Shull age 87, of Dilley Texas passed away Wednesday September 19, 2018 in Dilley. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Lee Shull; parents Lila Fern Fulmer and William Alton Jones; sisters Mary Louise Ridge and brother in law Charles Ridge and Peggy Ann Brewer and brother in law Joseph Brewer; daughter in law Stella Shull and granddaughter Erin Lea King. She is survived by her brothers Robert Harrison Jones and wife Barbara and William Douglas Jones and wife Marsha Diane Jones; sons Ron Shull and wife Sherri, Kelly Shull and wife Glenda, Keith Shull and wife Sheila, Robb Shull and wife Sarah; daughters, Judy Wilmeth and husband Mac, Antranette Gips and husband Don, Kristal Burris and husband Keith, and 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held at Lighthouse Church in Dilley on Saturday September 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with family receiving at this time. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.

Jesus Sifuentes Jr.

Jesus “Chuy” Sifuentes, Jr., 73, of Carrizo Springs and formerly of Pearsall, died on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Audie L. Murphy Community Living Center in San Antonio. He was born September 25, 1944, in Eagle Pass to the late Jesus Sifuentes, Sr. and Maria de la Luz Flores Sifuentes. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 18, at 1:15 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Memorial services were held Sunday, September 16, from 2 to 9 p.m. with ACTS Brother Valadez as organist and Adalina Hernandez as soloist. His neice’s daughter sang Amazing Grace. Interment was held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, in San Antonio. Rosary was held at Yeager- Barrera Mortuary with Father Richard of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Eagle Pass officiating. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Martinez Sifuentes. The couple married on August 6, 1966 at Holy Family Church in San Jose, California by Rev. Charles J. McKee.

Natasha Villanueva

Natasha Jo Villanueva, 29, of Dilley, died on September 22, 2018 in San Antonio. She was born on February 15, 1989 in Dallas to Joe Delmiro Villanueva and Dalia Torres Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by Craig Garcia of Dilley; children, Aleida Rae Villanueva, Zacriah Francisco Garcia and Aza Starr Garcia; parents; sisters, Velina Villanueva and Lauradannon Gutierrez and husband JayR.; grandmother, Maria Ester Villanueva; two nieces; five nephews along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel in Dilley from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 27, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Dilley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel in Dilley.

Eliadina Garcia

Eliadina G. Garcia, 76, of Dilley, died on September 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 3, 1941 in Dilley to Adan Garcia Jr. and Cecilia Salas Garcia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcelino Garcia Sr.; daughter, Yolanda Stella Zepeda and parents. She is survived by her children, Rogelio David Garcia and wife, Carmen of Grand Prairie, and Marcelino Garcia Jr. and wife, Claudia of Dilley; siblings, Elva Garcia, Erubiel Garcia and wife, Liz and Noe Garcia and wife, Sylvia; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included, Erubiel Garcia, Noe Garcia, Domingo Salas, Cesar Mata, Andrew Garcia, David Esqueda, Armando Gaona Jr., Silvano Obregon and Erubiel Garcia Jr. Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 19, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 20, at St.

Maria Martinez

Maria C. Martinez, 87, of Dilley, died on September 12, 2018 in Pearsall. She was born on September 19, 1930 in Melon, to Juan Cabasos and Gomecinda Cantu Cabasos. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan L. Martinez; son, Librado Martinez; parents; and siblings, Sabas Cabasos, Silvestre Cabasos, Victoria Rodriguez, Nativida Cabasos and Rafaela Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Maria Elena Rodriguez and husband, Ricky of Dilley, Nolberto “Betin” Martinez of Pearsall, Anna Louisa Aleman and husband, Jose of San Antonio, Juan C. Martinez Jr. and wife, Kelli of Rockwell, Luis C. Martinez of Pearsall and J Prajedes C. Martinez and wife, Liza of Dilley; 28 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Camilo Medrano

Camilo Medrano, 59, of Dilley, died on September 13, 2018 in San Antonio. He was born on July 18, 1959 in Three Rivers to Delfino Medrano and Santos Perez Medrano. He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his son, Camilo Medrano Jr. of Dilley; father, Delfino Medrano of Dilley; siblings, Lucy Valdez of Dilley, Pabla Medrano of Pearsall, Maria Medrano of Pearsall, Delfino Medrano Jr. of Pearsall, Alvino Medrano and wife, Sylvia of Dilley and Francisco Medrano of Dilley; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included, Jesus Soto, Edwardo Hernandez, Santos Medrano, Steve Medrano, Albino Medrano and Raul Ortiz. Felipe Morquecho

Felipe D. Morquecho III, 69 of Pearsall, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at his home in Pearsall surrounded by his wife and children. He was born November 15, 1948 to Felipe B. Morquecho Jr. and Marcela DeLeon Morquecho. He is preceded in death by his father; daughter Belinda Lucia Andrade and his brother, Rogelio (Roy) Morquecho. He is survived by his mother, Marcela DeLeon Morquecho; wife, Maria Elena Morquecho; children, Barbie Cruz, Janie Navarro and husband Lupe, Betty Morquecho of Dilley, Frank Otis and wife Selina Andrade of Tularosa, New Mexico, Felipe Morquecho IV and wife Bonnie of Pearsall and Diamond Esperanza Morquecho of Pearsall; siblings, Jessie Morquecho, Jimmy Morquecho, Lucy Viesca, Mary DeLeon and Janie Neill; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; along with numewous nieces and nephews. Baltazar Trevino

Baltazar “Boy” Treviño of Pearsall, died in San Antonio on September 9, 2018 at the age of 69. He was born to Jose Nott Trevino and Esperanza Trevino on June 27, 1949 in Pearsall. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Esperanza Trevino; brothers, Clemente Hernandez, Henry T. Trevino and Roger T. Trevino (Soila). He is survived by his sister, Yolanda T. Trevino (Richard Cantu); brothers, “Ginge Trevino (Chachi) and James R. Trevino; sister-in-laws, Mary Hernandez and Stella Trevino; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives. Baltazar graduated in 1969 from Pearsall High School. He was active in FFA and won several awards for his projects. After high school he went to Barber School in San Antonio where he graduated and became a licensed barber. He worked over 30 years as a professional barber in San Antonio and Pearsall. He continued to keep his license active until the day of his passing.

Elnora Elizabeth Gray Morris

Elnora Elizabeth Gray Morris succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease on September 6, 2018. Noah, as she was known to her family, was born on December 31, 1928 in Marfa, Texas, to Frank and Selma Helweg Gray. She graduated from La Pryor High School, and married the love of her life, Delbert Morris, in La Pryor, Texas. They recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. During Delbert’s career with Central Power and Light Company, the couple lived in Pearsall, Texas, where their daughters, Elizabeth and Marsha were born. They also lived in Uvalde, Laredo, and Harlingen. After retirement, they moved to Houston, and then to Coldspring to be close to their daughters and their only granddaughter, Emma, the light of her life. For the past 3 months, the family has been living in Tomball. She was a devoted mother. She was a wonderful cook. After her daughters went off to college, she took a job in the cafeteria at St. Paul Lutheran School.

Megan Gardner Pipes

It is with great heartfelt sadness that we announce, our beloved Megan Gardner Pipes, passed away peacefully with our family at her side, on Saturday, September 2, 2018 at age of 55 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Megan was born in San Antonio, TX on September 9, 1962 to the late Thetis Sanderford and Edward O’Meara Gardner. Megan and her five sisters grew up in Carrizo Springs, TX. She was the youngest daughter. During her life, she most loved her family, friends, Camp Mystic and St. Mary’s Hall. She considered her time at Camp Mystic in 1971-1980 to be one of the happiest experiences of her life. She remained in contact with her many Mystic friends. At Mystic, she was chosen to be Junior Cup Girl and served the Tonkawa tribe in many capacities. Megan attended school in Carrizo Springs through eighth grade. For high school, she attended and graduated from St. Mary’s Hall in 1981.
