BORDERTOWN SHOWDOWN rodeo with saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, and bull riding, in the La Salle County Youth Rodeo Association Arena on North Main Street, Cotulla; hosted by the South Texas Rodeo Association, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 8, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 9, with 90 competitors; top thirty return for finals at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Children’s Easter egg hunt at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Games and entertainment, mechanical bull, and vendors with clothing and jewelry. Admission $10 for adults; children age 12 and under free.
