OPEN PRO RODEO produced by Lester Meier Rodeo Co., from 8 p.m. onwards, Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29, in the La Salle Youth Rodeo Arena on North Main Street in Cotulla features bareback and saddle bronc riding, tie-down calf roping, girls’ breakaway roping, team roping, ladies’ barrel racing, bull riding and a calf scramble. Special kids’ events include mutton busting and a costume parade. All proceeds benefit student scholarships and youth activities by the La Salle County Farm Bureau.
