Teodoro Gandara Jr. of Pearsall, died on March 26, 2022 in San Antonio.
He is preceded in death by his parents Teodoro Gandara Sr. and Guadalupe Gandara, brothers Gamaliel, Alfredo and Manuel Gandara and mother-in-law Dora Marquez.
Gandaea is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sylvia Gandara, sons Teodoro Gandara III and Jeremy Gandara, siblings Enrique Gandara, Cruzita Morales (Mike), Diana Garcia, Robert Gandara, and Anabelle Lozano (Mario), nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and lastly his furry friend Benji.
He was a co-pastor at I.E.C Family Worship Center and centered his life around God, family and work, and always made time to throw in some scripture to anyone he’d come across.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 1 from 2 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at the IEC Family Worship Center on 516 W. Colorado St. in Pearsall. Interment will follow at the Pearsall Veterans Cemetery.
