COTULLA COWGIRLS BASKETBALL
Cotulla rolled to a 21-5 first period lead and never looked back in routing Laredo Harmony in girls’ basketball action on November 18.
The Cowgirls had a scheduled outing against Three Rivers cancelled at the last minute on Tuesday, November 22.
Cotulla’s win over Harmony evened its season mark to 1-1 for the year after the team dropped a narrow 49-45 decision in its season opener against Charlotte.
A slow start hampered Cotulla, who trailed 32-12 at halftime. The team rallied in the second half, outscoring Charlotte 34-17 but came up four points short.
Cotulla led throughout against Harmony, leading 35-11 at halftime en route to the 45-point win.
Sedelia Wilson-Larkin led Cotulla with 16 points, Allyse Leija had 14, Alinna Botello added 13 points while Ivorie Romero finished with ten.
Cotulla hosted Carrizo Springs Tuesday evening and will be at the Hondo tourney this weekend.
