Myrta Galvan, 59, died on December 8, 2022. She was born on September 21, 1963 to Matilde Galvan and Francisca Gonzalez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Linda Garcia, Matilde Galvan Jr., Jose Luis Galvan, and Elvira Elsa Galvan.

Martinez is survived by her children Raul Ramirez Jr. (Maria Hernandez), Nikki Ramirez and her cat, Gus and Elvira (David) Gonzalez, grandchildren DeRey Ramirez, JoJo Gonzalez, Davira Gonzalez, Izayah Ramirez, Baby David Gonzalez, Baby Rey Ramirez, Diego Gonzalez, Alejandro Ramirez and Zander Ramirez, siblings Oscar “Pin” Garcia Sr., Olga (Chuck) Grout, Irene Galvan, Oscar (Christy) Garcia Jr., Lorina Garcia, Linda (Lance) Storey, Mario (Cindy) Garcia, and Richard Garcia. She is also survived by her dogs, B-Dog and Wowow, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers include Jose Luis Gonzalez, DeRey Ramirez, Richard Garcia, Mario Garcia, Andrew Storey, Brandon Garcia, Jeremiah Galvan, Raul Ramirez Jr., and Oscar Garcia Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15 at Peters Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
