The Cotulla – La Salle County Chamber of Commerce held its monthly coffee gathering at Cotulla City Hall on Friday morning, March 24, bringing together representatives of city and county government and elected officials, civic and community organizations, churches, service and healthcare providers, child advocates, charities, and local businesses for an informal and informational morning of networking, updates on programs and calendar events, fundraisers and special projects benefiting the community. Among the presenters were City Hall staff with a welcome, South Texas Rural Health, Inc., with information on resources, the Belong agency with updates on child foster and adoption; and information on the Children’s Alliance of South Texas and the Wintergarden Women’s Shelter. The Chamber hosts the events to connect civic and business leaders and to offer the general public an opportunity to become acquainted with those who offer resources, to meet new business owners and managers, and to learn more about the community. The La Salle County Sheriff’s Office will host the next Coffee with the Chamber at 9 a.m. Friday, April 21, in the county courthouse. (CURRENT Photos: Marc Robertson)
