City of Pearsall elected officials who earned their places in the May 6 election were administered their oaths of office last week, including (L-R) Councilors Aurora Garza and Brenda Trevino, and Mayor Ben Briscoe. Garza prevailed to win an open seat at Place 6; Trevino defeated an incumbent at Place 7; and Briscoe was elected to a second term. (Not pictured: Tiffany Talamantes, re-elected in Place 5)
