Elida A. Linares, 72, died on May 25, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1950 to Enrique and Rosa Ayala.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Josefa Sanchez, Roberto Ayala, and Enrique Ayala.

Linares is survived by her husband Luis Linares Jr., children Luis Linares III, Marco (Kim) Linares, and Elida Elizabeth Linares, grandchildren Marco Linares, Kaleb Linares, Jaden Luis Linares, Bella Victoria Linares and Evan Richard Zertuche, siblings Estella Ruiz, Elvira Velasquez, Juanita Lozano, Adan Ayala, Yolanda Sanchez and Raul Ayala.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 3 at the Living Faith Family Worship Church from 8 to 10 a.m. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m. at Living Faith Family Worship Church. Interment followed at the Cotulla West Cemetery.
