William Wayne “Bill” DeWeese, 76, died on October 24, 2023. He was born on February 3, 1947 to Dr. Walter Wayne and Claretta Sims DeWeese.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

DeWeese is survived by his son Travis DeWeese, sister Helen (Jack†) Bice, brother Robert Wayne DeWeese, nieces and nephews Debbie Taylor, Mark (Carol) Taylor, Dana (Bob) Cuffaro, Phillip (Lisa) DeWeese, Roni Weatherford (Jimmy) Campos, Laura Weatherford (Keir) Johnson, Buddy (Brandi) Weatherford, Tami Driver (Kim) Kuntz, Christi Driver and Brady May. He is also survived by numerous other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3 at Peters Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow at the Cotulla West Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home, Cotulla.
