Lady Mavs top Uvalde, Pleasanton, fall to Carrizo Springs in action last week.
Pearsall had eight runs on nine hits despite seven errors in a narrow win over Uvalde and then split league outings in a short week to sit tied for fourth in the District 29-3A softball standings this week.
The Lady Mavs overcame a 7-2 deficit with a five-run sixth and then held off a late Pleasanton rally to secure a 12-11 victory on Monday night, March 25 to sandwich a pair of wins around a 17-15 loss to Carrizo Springs on the road Friday, March 22.
Pearsall and the Lady Wildcats are both 3-3 in league play but Carrizo Springs currently holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Floresville leads the district with a 6-0 mark while Devine and Somerset sit tied for second at 4-2 apiece.
The Arabians currently hold the tiebreaker edge over the Lady Bulldogs, as well.
The Lady Mavs will be at Devine this Thursday, March 28 as the second round of league play kicks off.
Pearsall will host Somerset on April 2 before an open date on April 5.
