50 jailed in Frio, May 20 – June 2

Fifty individuals were arrested in Frio County between Monday, May 20, and Sunday, June 2, on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges.
Arrests were made by deputies of the Frio County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and officers of the Pearsall Police Department.
In addition to those being held on warrants issued in other jurisdictions, suspects taken into custody with arrest times logged at booking in the Frio County Jail were as follows:
Osvaldo Saavedra Jr., 26, of Edinburg, arrested Monday, May 20, 4:00 p.m., two counts – failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance; failure to appear – failure to identify as a fugitive with intent to give false information; two counts – failure to appear, driving while intoxicated; failure to appear – assault causing bodily injury to a family member; failure to appear – evading arrest or detention.
Gumesindo Anthony Richard Ruiz, 17, of Pearsall, arrested Monday, May 20, 4:31 p.m., violating bond or protective order.
Fabian Torres, 28, of Pearsall, arrested Monday, May 20, 6:25 p.m., warrant – indecency with a child, sexual contact.
Christopher Mann, 42, of San Antonio, arrested Monday, May 20, 7:39 p.m., criminal trespass.
Alyssa Garcia, 19, of Pearsall, arrested Tuesday, May 21, 11:04 a.m., aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Andrew Joel Garcia, 24, of Dilley, arrested Tuesday, May 21, 1:43 p.m., bench warrant – motion to revoke, burglary of a habitation.
Maria Genevah Manzanares, 48, of Crystal City, arrested Wednesday, May 22, 5:24 a.m., Medina County – smuggling of persons.
Alexa Justine Martinez, 17, of Pearsall, arrested Wednesday, May 22, 12:44 p.m., assault causing bodily injury.
Luis Genaro Hernandez-Santos, 33, of Del Valle, arrested Wednesday, May 22, 2:22 p.m., possession of a controlled substance.

21 jailed in La Salle, May 27 – June 9

Twenty-one individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past two weeks on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges as well as on warrants issued locally and in other jurisdictions.
Arrests were made by deputies of the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office, troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, officers of the Encinal Police Department and by the county constables’ offices.
In addition to those serving commitment by order of the courts (details previously published), those taken into custody between Monday, May 27, and Sunday, June 9, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail, were as follows:
John Alden Friesenhahn, 21, of Cotulla; arrested 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; remained in jail Monday, June 10.
Annette Rae Elizondo, 40, of Cotulla; arrested 9:28 p.m. Thursday, May 30, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class A misdemeanor terroristic threat against a family or household member, Class A misdemeanor resisting arrest, state jail felony possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1/1b, warrant issued by La Salle County Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace for third-degree felony assault upon a public servant; remained in jail Monday, June 10.
Miguel Angel Vallejo Jr., 30, of Laredo; arrested 11:28 a.m. Friday, May 31, by the Pct. 2 Constabulary; warrant issued by the US Marshals Service for probation violation on a felony charge of smuggling of persons; transferred after three hours.
